Could I use Paypal and debit card together to pay for my Ebay items?

I wanted to know if i could use my money from paypal and debit card together to pay for my ebay item? I am a little short on paypal money and wanted to pay the item with paypal, and whatever i have left over with my debit card. By the way, my debit card is linked to my paypal account. Will this work? if so, somebody please tell me.
