Whats the best bank for getting a debit card and How do i apply?

I am 20 yrs old im planning to get a debit card so i can start buying online,

I was wondering which bank is the best to do this with and.. What documents do i need to bring to get one?? and how long til i recieve it? (im in the UK) so Natwest ,Nationwide, HSBC, Barclays cant think of any other at the moment..but help please (",)|||im not in the UK

but most banks in the US you need these things

1 drivers license or picture ID

2 proof of residency

3 and some want your employment information

4 social security card

5 and you have to be at least 18 for your own account

your best bet is to phone a local bank and ask|||Don't touch Halifax. I bank with HSBC and they are quite good. Look for the bank with the minimal charges for if you go overdrawn.|||I want you to look at two web sites.

#1cardweb.com and #2creditcardgoodies.com

This should help you..
