How do I block a company from charging my debit card?

Ok, so I signed up for Bally's but I want them to stop charging my debit card, and my notice to them won't get to them before the next payment is due. How do I block them from them billing my account? Thanks!!!|||You will have to contact them directly and have them stop the payment. Even if you call the bank and have them cancel your card, the charge may still come through if it was preauthorized before you cancel the card. You will have to check with your bank, but you can probably put a stop payment on the item. The only problem with that is there is usually a service charge to do that, and it may be more than your monthly membership charge.|||go to bank and ask them or just open new account and leave that one empty or close it...
