Can I use my Pioneer Bank debit card in Canada?
I live in the United States and I had attempted to use my debit card to make a purchase while in Canada, and the card was refused. The cashier wasn't able to tell me why either. I find it strange because I had more than sufficient funds in the bank, and a few hours earlier I had successfully made a purchase at a restaurant while still in the US. So does anyone know what went wrong? Also, are there only specific US banks that I can use the debit cards in Canada? Best answer gets 10 points!|||Pioneer Bank "debit cards" only work here in the U.S.|||yea im pretty sure, but you'd have to ask the person you'er buying from|||as long as it's got a master card or visa logo on it, you can use it anywhere in the world that those are accepted. if not, it's only good in atm machines|||Here i s an excellent site with some wonderful options for you. It will definitely help you. Have a look. http://webfin3.notlong.com/7AADcoT|||You should probably get a hold of the bank so you are using it out of country so they aren't worried it got stolen.
