How do I add my debit card (attached to my bank account) to paypal?

I'm new to paypal. I don't want to add my bank account, but my debit card attached to my bank account.|||you should be able to use your debit card as a normal credit card. paypal will not be able to find out your real bank account number.|||the only way is to use a credit card. that way they would not get the details of your bank. and , as a matter of precaution, never used debit card online on internet/. very very dangerous.|||You do need to add your bank account in order to set it up what happens is ....paypal will deposit two small payments in your account like 20pence and say 5 pence you then have to declare how much they have put in so they know its your bank account...i have used paypal for 6 years and this is how i set it up
