I opened a paypal account because I thought I'd be able to buy and sell online without using a credit or debit card. Is it required to have these or this there another option?|||If you wish to buy anything online using PayPal, you must have your PayPal account linked and verified to either your bank account or credit / debit card. PayPal acts as a middle man who will encrypt your details to keep them secure so that it's safer to buy stuff online. But it will need to charge you for whatever you buy by either debiting from your bank account or charging to your credit or debit card. Hope this helps.
